Rule editing, review artifacts, and workflow enhancements

Sep. 4, 2026. This UAT release introduces enhancements to rule management, review workflows, findings management, finalization artifacts, and helpdesk administration. The update also includes usability improvements, tiering enhancements, and fixes to improve workflow accuracy, permissions handling, and platform stability.

What's new

Rule builder enhancements (see screenshots below)

• Introduced the first phase of rule editing capabilities within Rule Builder, allowing users to begin managing and updating rules created through the platform.

• Added improved guidance within the criteria builder to help users better understand rule configuration options.

Review artifact enhancements (see screenshots below)

• Users can now specify the order of sections within final artifacts, providing greater control over report presentation.

Review workflow enhancements (see screenshots below)

• Added a Return to Reviewer option within the More Options menu on the Order Details page, providing additional workflow flexibility during the review process.

What's changed or improved

Findings management improvements

• FATAL severity findings are now restricted to the Main page to improve consistency and review accuracy.

• Findings lists now utilize available page space more effectively, improving visibility and navigation.

• Review findings sorting behavior has been enhanced to provide a more consistent user experience.

• Rule analysis updates have been incorporated to support ongoing improvements in rule accuracy and quality.

• Manually added findings are now managed within a single section to avoid duplication and improve organization.

Tiering and review workflow improvements

• Forced tiering behavior has been enhanced to ensure eligible orders are assigned to the appropriate tier.

• Escalation controls are now automatically disabled when no escalation path has been configured.

• Roles without checklist permissions no longer encounter unnecessary workflow interruptions when managing tier configurations.

• The initial workflow experience has been improved by presenting a Continue action where appropriate, rather than a Save action.

Helpdesk and administration updates

• Collateral client selection has been standardized across screens to provide a more consistent administrative experience.

• Authentication and session handling have been enhanced to improve reliability and reduce session-related issues.

• Collateral client selection fields have been updated to improve data entry behavior and usability.

Review and finalization improvements

• Final comment processing has been improved to handle comment length more consistently across review workflows.

• Helper text within revision request workflows has been updated to improve clarity for reviewers.

• Streamlined status management by removing obsolete options from the status update process.

What's fixed

• Fixed an issue where auto-reviewed orders only received the first configured PDF artifact instead of all configured artifacts.

• Fixed an issue where review findings sorting did not properly refresh and failed to apply the expected default sort order.

• Fixed an issue where updated finding severities were not consistently reflected within review workflows.

• Fixed an issue where ROV resubmission findings were not properly filtered for tier-based clients.

• Fixed an issue where users could continue saving final comments after a review had already been finalized.

• Fixed an issue where users without checklist permissions could receive error messages while editing tiers.

• Fixed an issue where changes to permissions were not immediately reflected in active user sessions.

• Fixed a file viewer issue that could display a 404 error when files were unavailable.

• Fixed tooltip behavior when checklist requirements prevented review finalization.

• Fixed an issue with tier processing that could prevent forced tier assignments from working as expected.

• Fixed validation issues affecting certain UAD 3.6 ZIP file submissions and file processing scenarios.

• Fixed various workflow, usability, and platform stability issues to improve overall system reliability.

New feature screenshots

Use the Edit button on rules built with the Rule builder to fully edit any field except the Rule ID.

Choose the order in which sections of the Review artifact display using the arrows beside each section.

You can now return escalated reviewers to a previous tier and reviewer through More options from the Order details screen. Select a Previous reviewer from the dropdown in the modal.
