September 2026 UAT release: Enhancements to appraisal scoring, checklists, and ROV workflows

This September 25, 2026 UAT release includes enhancements to checklist usability, appraisal scoring, assignment processing, findings management, and reconsideration of value (ROV) workflows. The update also delivers usability improvements and fixes to improve workflow accuracy, assignment behavior, and overall platform reliability.

What's new

Appraisal score enhancements

• Introduced enhancements to the Cotality Appraisal Score to improve transparency and consistency.

• Added auditability for appraisal score calculations.

• Appraisal scores are now preserved when orders reach a closed status.

• Restricted Appraisal Update and Completion Report orders are excluded from appraisal score calculations.

• Reconsideration of Value (ROV) reviews can now be included in appraisal score processing where applicable.

Checklist enhancements

• Updated checklist toggle displays to support improved inline and multi-line label and value presentation, improving readability across checklist workflows.

What's changed or improved

Findings management improvements

• Finding comments now display timestamps, providing greater visibility into review activity history.

• Tier configuration screens now display the complete rule set available for findings-based assignment decisions.

• Manual finding comment validation has been improved to enforce comment length requirements and provide clearer user feedback.

Assignment and workflow improvements

• Get Next processing has been enhanced to better prioritize orders with past-due holistic review dates.

• Request Revision actions are now automatically disabled when an order is already in an active revision workflow.

• Revision Request submission has been improved to prevent multiple submissions while a request is being processed.

• Associated Files now display improved uploader attribution information.

Review experience improvements

• Recent Activity has been refined to reduce redundant entries and improve readability.

• Orders without a checklist now display a checklist toggle state that more accurately reflects review status.

• Order exports have been improved to provide a more reliable export experience from the Orders page.

Rule quality improvements

• We completed continued rule analysis and optimization efforts to improve rule accuracy, consistency, and overall review quality.

What's fixed

• Fixed issues affecting Reconsideration of Value (ROV) workflows, including tier locking behavior, rule population, and related error messaging.

• Fixed an issue where ROV tiers could ignore configured auto-assignment settings.

• Fixed false-positive findings related to ADU count and structure identifier validations.

• Fixed an issue where PDF-only workflows could be blocked by unnecessary rule validation during order creation.

• Fixed assignment logic where an unfired "If Any" rule could incorrectly prevent tier assignment when no other qualifying criteria existed.

• Fixed appraisal score calculations on tier reviews to ensure scores are derived from the appropriate review findings.

• Fixed an issue where decision controls could remain enabled when they should have been unavailable.

• Fixed an issue where manual finding comments could exceed configured length limits.

• Fixed uploader attribution display issues within the Associated Files tab.

• Fixed issues affecting Revision Request actions for orders already in revision.

• Fixed issues affecting exports from the Orders page.

• Fixed rule execution and coverage issues identified through ongoing rule analysis efforts.

• Fixed various security, stability, and platform reliability issues identified through ongoing platform maintenance and remediation efforts.
