Cotality Collateral Investigate UAT release: Enhanced rule builder, helpdesk tools, and workflow refinements
Sep. 11, 2026. This UAT release introduces significant enhancements to audit logging, rule management, order workflows, findings management, and helpdesk administration. The update also includes usability improvements, workflow refinements, and fixes to improve assignment processing, escalation handling, rule evaluation accuracy, and platform reliability.
What's new
Audit logging enhancements (see screenshots below)
Introduced expanded audit logging capabilities to provide greater visibility into user activity and system changes.
Added audit tracking for rule and checklist maintenance, including creation and update details.
Expanded Audit Log coverage across additional system areas to improve traceability and compliance reporting.
Rule builder enhancements (see screenshots below)
Added support for multiple product types within static custom rules, providing greater flexibility when configuring client-specific rules.
Improved dropdown controls by preventing manual entry of unsupported values, helping ensure consistent rule configuration.
Workflow enhancements (see screenshots below)
Added support for sending PDF artifacts with revision requests, improving communication and documentation during revision workflows.
Added dynamic updates to the Order Details page so order actions and menu options refresh automatically after reassignment without requiring a page reload.
Added loan purpose information to the Order Details page.
Added loan classification support to lending authority configuration options.
Helpdesk enhancements
Added per-image Intelligent Appraisal rule firing details to the Rule Diagnostics page to improve troubleshooting capabilities.
Added enhanced UCDP submission history search capabilities, allowing searches using collateral client, order ID, and document file ID.
Added administrative capabilities for managing dynamic checklist field configurations.
Integration enhancements
Added a synchronous API endpoint to support running UAD rules through the Review Service and Review Engine.
Added synchronization capabilities to reconcile missing client records between connected systems.
What's changed or improved
Order management improvements
Updated Get Next processing to prioritize dates more effectively when determining assignment order.
Added additional date information to the Order Details page for improved visibility into order timelines.
Hold reasons are now retained and available throughout applicable workflow processes.
Workflow processing has been enhanced to allow certain order creation fields to remain optional for supported appraisal types.
Findings management improvements
Added a warning on the All Findings tab to notify users that updates apply across all review tiers.
Review findings processing has been refined to improve accuracy and consistency.
Follow-up reviews for reconsideration workflows now retain prior reviewer decisions and comments where appropriate.
Rule and review enhancements
Continued rule analysis updates to improve rule quality and coverage.
User-facing rule names are now included in outbound revision status updates to provide clearer communication.
Severity selection controls have been updated to improve consistency and reduce configuration errors.
Security and administration improvements
Enhanced client administration controls by reserving certain settings for users with the highest permission levels.
Continued improvements to application behavior and code quality to address workflow edge cases and improve maintainability.

Fixed an issue where duplicate escalation flags could interfere with Get Next order assignment processing.
Fixed an issue preventing escalation of decisions or findings in specific tier-based workflow scenarios.
Fixed a rule evaluation issue that prevented a rule from firing correctly for cooperative project legal structures.
Fixed backend validation issues that could generate incorrect ADU count and structure identifier findings.
Fixed checklist scenarios where checklist selections could be lost after multiple tier transitions.
Fixed cross-client contamination issues affecting medium-severity rule results.

Fixed review workflow defects identified during findings analysis and validation efforts.

New feature screenshots
Use the settings icon in the top-right corner to navigate to the new Audit log (available only to admins). Use the Group
dropdown to pick your log category, and the Action dropdown to select the actions to review.
On the Findings management page, the Rule builder now lets you multi-select which report types your custom rule should apply to.
The Order details screen now reflects the Loan purpose in the first box and any applicable dates delivered from the platform in the far-right box.
Go to the settings icon in the top-right corner, then select Members and permissions, then click edit on any user. The third tab in the drawer is Lending authority, and we’ve recently added the ability to restrict eligible reviews by Loan classification code.
